Royal Street is a condensed family of six typefaces, from ExtraLight to ExtraBold. It’s been developed off and on over ten years, as part of a mission to build a condensed grotesque based on the designer’s own personal definitions and quirks, with influences ranging from Burke’s Trade Gothic to Licko’s Modula.
Royal Street has an extended Latin character set tuned for about 140 languages (including Central European countries), and is designed with several common and discretionary ligatures.
Many thanks to Jesse R. Ewing (jesserewing.com), who designed all the example logos on his lunch hour one day.
